ABSTRACT
Herein, we demonstrate a NOx purification technology based on plasma-assisted catalysis and test the purification efficiency under various experimental conditions. It has been shown that whatever the experimental condition is, the NOx purification efficiency is always the best by using the combination of plasma and nano-TiO2. Moreover, the purification efficiency gradually increases with the increase of applied voltage. Meanwhile, higher flow rates of pollution gases would reduce the efficiency of plasma-catalytic combined NOx purification. This could be attributed to the reason that the contact probability between pollutants and active species in the reactor decreases at higher flow rates.
