ABSTRACT
Unique pattern characteristics of textile pattern are proposed as a factor to consider in the image retrieval algorithm. Dual-tree complex wavelet and Rotated Complex Wavelet (RCW) transform are used to build feature value which is based on the corresponding wavelet coefficients. Then image retrieval method is established on the correlation sequence which is including the characteristics direction of textile pattern instead of the traditional means and variances. The results can be provides basic theoretical support for content-based image retrieval.
