ABSTRACT
FDI inflows are vital for the Chinas development and Chinese manufacturing PMI index is the important indicators measuring national industry development trend. The relation research between them has important economic significance. So the VAR model to establish and stationery test, cointegration regression, ECM model, granger test and impulse response function method are used. It is concluded that there is long-term equilibrium and stable relations between them and FDI inflows were significantly positive role in promoting the manufacturing PMI index in the short term. FDI inflows are the granger reason of the manufacturing PMI index which confirms that FDI inflow has important influence on the Chinese manufacturing PMI index. But it is not significant that the manufacturing PMI index impacts on FDI inflows.
