ABSTRACT
Protein structure prediction occupies an important position on bioinformatics science. In this study, basic theory of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and some theory models of protein folding study are introduced. Using modified particle swarm optimization, the protein structure prediction is predicted and good performance of algorithm is verified by testing results of Fibonacci sequence. From the experimental results it can be seen that PSO-SA algorithm accurately obtain the optimal solution of the lowest energy value. The algorithm can jump out of local optima and has good convergence performance. The experimental result is very satisfactory.
