ABSTRACT
This study aimed to identify the flora of Osmanbey Campus of Harran University. In the study flora of the Harran University campus was studied. Currently, the flora is being detoriated due to construction of new buildings and gardening applications. In term of species and subspecies, the flora of area consisted of 204 taxa; including species (species, subspecies and variety) belonging to 129 genera of 37 families. Fabaceae, Asteraceae and Poaceae were families having the highest number of taxa, respectively 32, 29 and 27. The phytogeographical distribution of taxa was determined as Irano-Turanian ( 31.3%), Mediterranean (12.6%) and Euro-Siberian (3.7%). The ratio of endemism is 2.4%. According to IUCN Red Data Book Categories, 11 plant taxa are under threat and of these taxa 5 are endemic and 6 are nonendemic plants.
