ABSTRACT
A series of new biologically active complexes of Ni+2, Pd+2, Pt+2, Cu+2, Ag+1, Au+3 , Zn+2, Cd+2 and Hg+2 with pyrazole-derivatives have been synthesized. The synthesized ligands, metal salts and their complexes have been screened for their antibacterial property against two species of bacteria (Bacillus subtilis and Micrococcus leutus) by agar diffusion method. The results showed that metal complexes were more active than the ligands against these bacterial species.
