The toxic effects of all pesticides, including Endosulfan, occur due to exposure of quantities above the validated safety levels. Furthermore, there are acute effects apart from the ones referred to in this paper. Therefore, the safe and judicious use of pesticides, including Endosulfan, is relevant. Contingent actions matter for acute toxicity. Deliberate chronic exposure is unethical and should not be supported. I am surprised that an Ethics Committee has permitted this work.
